Eat-your-fingers summer smoothie!

Blender up these Ingredients: (go organic when possible)

2 c. Frozen berries (approx. since strawberries were huge)

1-2 c. Vanilla yogurt (or plain for less sweet)

3 tbsp creamy peanut butter

1 scoop Fruit and veggie mix (Terra Greens from doTERRA)

3-4 drops Wild Orange Essential oil

Lemonade to taste/thin out

Yields:  NOT enough.  at all.  recommended tripling recipe for every child in home.  And then making it in secret so you can have your portion first :D

That's right Corrective oil-Consuming Disorder... I have got it!

All silliness aside-I habitually go to my oil box before I go to my doctor (after researching in my Modern Essentials book first, of course!)  In fact, all of the doctors I've spoken with have either completely shrugged off (some even discourage) essential oils, or they have already suggested a homeopathic remedy that has worked for me.  One doc who suggested Lemon balm (melissa) for anxiety, incidentally, was my OMT.  What did he have to lose--nothing.  When I went all Dr. Google on him and decided to buy an acme brand Lemon Balm because it WORKED so well-I decided to internet-research on about pain management.  He wasn't as crazy for that idea because, well, it would work him out of his own job.



  

Essential Oils, like empowerment through the pursuit of knowledge, are becoming a devastation to modern medicine.  (Ever googled your ailment-SCARY!) ANYWAY just ask my OMT specialist-I finally did wind up laying him off after discovering I can support my spine and back problems with oils. This is my personal choice-EO's can not magically re-align your spine, of course, so periodic visits are still necessary-but the pain associated with OMT work is definitely alleviated without having to go to my overly toxified medicine cabinet.  And when life gets excessively busy, it's also nice that a subtle injury doesn't have to turn into chronic pain before you can get in to see the Doc.

And for pennies per dose, coupled with sometimes IMMEDIATE results, who can argue that?

When a 7-year old starts a business...

...you could find something like this while cleaning out the minivan!  After I finally stopped laughing, it brought a tear to my eye at the realization that she'll be right behind me soon enough!

I just love how my children take comfort in my new found natural remedies.  There's nothing more precious than a daughter wanting to be more like her mother-and without even trying, she has made me really proud!  Furthermore, I take comfort in the fact that she is always reading through my Modern Essentials "EO Bible."  Turning 8 soon after Mother's Day-she's one of my first gifts!  Not to mention, the kid can now reference-check like a seasoned librarian!

But I can not publish this without introducing her 2.5 year old sister who spent this winter with the occasional ear infections and other ailments.  As I progress in my knowledge of EO usage and become more comfortable using with the little one, she has become increasingly reliant on me to dab oil on her foot when she doesn't feel well.  One night my husband came to me with crying toddler in his arms after asking her "what do you need?" to which she responded very insistently, "I need oy-yuls!"  Her speech is still difficult to decipher, but she'll inform you, and with clarity,  "that peppermint should NOT go near your eyes!"

TOP REASONS -NOT- TO buy from someone (you don't know) online:

1.  It is perfectly LEGAL to sell you oil that claims to be 100% pure (of course what's in it could actually be pure, but the other 95% coconut oil, etc doesn't legally have to be mentioned).

2.  A consultant selling "myCOMPANY'S" EO's (or any other oil) online (amazon or even their own official coMPANY sight) may indeed be invested in properly handling your BUSINESS.  However, the Business aspect of our health has already been revealed as ineffective (it's why we go to our oil box before the medicine cabinet or the doctor's office nowadays).  Would you go to the doctor via Skype?  You want to find a consultant who is INVESTED in your HEALTH AND WELLNESS.  Not one gaining Wealth from your Hellness.  If they're trying to lure you in with a free gift with signup, they are just trying to get money/commission.  When you join with myCOMPANY it is a family and functions (i.e. replicates) best by rubbing elbows with a community that helps each other find freedom in health-if you are signing up with some random consultant hoping to pave your own path to success, you don't have anyone to help you except an electronic device. You deserve the whole package.

3.  Joining myCOMPANY becomes a lifestyle.  Your friends and family NEED to be on your team, or it makes for an awkward family reunion.  Place the newlyweds who have yet to sign up right there in the middle of Uncle Frankincense and Cousin Rosemary:

4.  "It takes a village to raise a child."  'Nuf said.  Just kidding-this warrants elaboration.  Actually, you will need a lot of different people sharing experiences to help you through the process of getting started.  You can't get the most out of your account if you don't have people guiding you-picture yourself forgetting to change your monthly (LRP) order to $100 for the month of January and you finally signed someone up and - what!?  Where's my commission check?  oops.  Should have rubbed those elbows.  If you don't understand how devastating that last comment was, you need to come rub MY elbows (preferably with peppermint or soothing blend, please).

We're ALL HERE because we are interested in OILS!  To determine where you lie in that journey, here's a funny grammar game to help examine your position.   That said, I need you to understand that I am busily married (with children) but have a real PASSION to spread the "wealth" of knowledge that may serve to alleviate your (winter?) hellness.   So, "I told them that I loved Oils."  Do you know what happened next?  I inserted the word "only" and it put it all into perspective!

Now, let's talk about the word "only."  It's such a powerful word that if you randomly insert it into the sentence below, you change the entire meaning of your statement.  Go ahead, place "only" into this sentence - then tell us how we can describe your current position as an oil (per)user.

Missing Ginger - reasons why doTERRA is at the top!

Today, this "ginger" mama got her missing Ginger!  Why myCOMPANY is such a great EO company?  There was a hidden Wintergreen among the dozen oils I ordered this month, but I didn't see my Ginger.  It took me a week to get around to getting on the customer service live chat, but they immediately sent out my missing Ginger and let me keep the Wintergreen!
